about your taking care of yourself.
That includes your health, both physical and emotional, AND it also includes having fun and building your relationships. Wellness, simply put, means doing what you need to do in order to be and stay well.
It ranges from managing your meds and continuing your treatment plan, if you have one, and/or getting regular check-ups by your doctor to going for a walk to let off steam. It might mean you need to make time to spend with family or friends or read a good book.
Wellness means eating healthy whenever possible and finding ways to include physical activity into your routine, like stretching when you wake up in the morning or walking the dog for an extra 10 minutes.
