The Community Collaborative brings together, in a collective voice, the perspectives of families, youth, providers, child & family services, community members and other stakeholders. The purpose of this collaborative is to provide oversight and guidance to Monroe County ACCESS for the purposes of growing and sustaining the System of Care in our community.
There are three work teams, Evaluation, Outreach & Access, and Sustaining the System of Care Culture, which report to the Community Collaborative.
The Evaluation Team monitors the National Evaluation and other data to help answer the question: Are our children getting better?
The Outreach & Access Team supports answering the question: Are all children, youth and families with mental health challenges finding a culturally appropriate and responsive way to obtain services?
The Sustaining the System of Care Culture Team’s role is to support answering the question: Are we taking the steps necessary to make certain that the knowledge and tools that support the System of Care culture change can be available beyond the end of the grant?
For more information on how to become involved with the Community Collaborative, please contact Elizabeth Meeker, Project Director at 753-2680 or emeeker@monroecounty.gov .
